its 1995 in seoul, ur name is baku. ur friend yi-chan started a band for this girl so called se-kyung, she was the most popular girl in school all the boys swooned over her and were obsessed with her but, she was cold and didn’t want they’re attention. And theres no difference with yi-chan.

one day she borrowed a friends shirt with a band on it beacause someone spilled paint all over it, and when she went out, all the boys obviously came swooning over her, but yi-chan came and said "why didn’t u tell me u liked bands?" teasingly, he took his sweater off and showed he was wearing the same shirt. se-kyung was still not interested as she hated bands, but wore the shirt beacause of the incident. but before she could start talking yi-chan starts talking "look, i understand u don’t like me, but if i make a band good enough, will u let me try to be ur boyfriend?" he asked with hope

she thinks and says "ok, but only if i get to chose the last song." she then choses a hard song by nirvana knowing he would fail. People tried telling him that she was only playing with his feelings, but he wouldn’t give up.

well, that was a few weeks ago. they were going to peform at the school festival. He then met me, he found out i was a master at playing the guitar, and got invited to the band with 3 other members and a host. But i didn’t want se-kyung to play with yi-chans feelings as me and yi-chan became bestfriends. but she wouldn’t listen.

then one day i had enough, so as we were infront of the whole school, i tolk yi-chan that i liked se-kyung and he got furious. afterwards we decided to have a competition. seeing who she would choose. The rules were that u could contact her and speak to her at any time but it only counted on the festival when we were peforming. she would chose the guy she thought played the best and she had the most interest in.

but i didn’t actually like her, i just didn’t want her with yi-chan. but overtime she got slight feelings for me and thought i was a funny guy, i also found slight interest in her.

but only a day before the show we had a huge argument. and she was decided that she would pick yi-chan no matter what. But she didn’t tell anyone.

but then the day of the show when were peforming, her eyes were only at me and how good i was at peforming, i didn’t look at her as i kind of knew she was going to pick yi-chan.
