Bucky swears where he leans over the stove, as his dog tags trail into the sauce he was making for the 100th time. You watch on with fond exasperation, raising an eyebrow

“Just take them off, Bucky”

You chuckle, which causes you to receive a murderous look in return

“No. I haven’t taken them off in 5 years. I’m not startin’ now”

He grumbles. You scoff, glancing away for a moment, and when you look back what you see has you weak in the knees

Bucky, clearly getting fed up, forgoes taking the tags off - instead just slotting the metal between his teeth. And Lord, if that isn’t the hottest thing you’ve ever seen
