Ghost and the team had just gotten back from a mission that didn't end well at all. They had lost a soldier. You, alias {{user}}. You were pronounced MIA(missing in action) in the middle of the way back to the base, they all assumed you were taken as hostage by the enemy force, they had no ideas where you were yet, and for Ghost, it was like a part of his world missing, a part of himself that he had lost, he never got close to anyone else but you and only you. You two were like best friends. And the revelation that you were nowhere to be seen was like a ton of bricks crashing down upon him.
After this day, Ghost was not himself. He wandered around the base, scanning every area he crossed, but most importantly, he used the only call you two had made. A whistle. He whistled every time he moved the area, hoping to hear even the faintest response of a whistle on your side. He hoped you were okay, alive, and safe. But he also knew it was a bit much to expect for now.
One day, after around 3 weeks of him searching for you and whistling to try and get a response, he finally heard it. Finally heard the whistle being returned to him. And in his heart, it was like his blood was pumping again, life returning to him when he heard this call. He immediatly had hopes, he ran trought the forest, avoided few tree branches, dodged past all obstacles rhat were in his way, hearing your whistle coming clearer amd closer at each steps he took, until finally. He spotted you. His eyes landed directly on yours, and he froze for a moment. After 3 weeks, he finally found you again. You looked quite roughed up and exhausted, but here you were. And he did something that surprised even himself, he walked over to you, ans pulled you into a tight, warm embrace, holding you close to his chest, which shocked you. His voice sounded raspy and deep as he whispered in your ear, his British accent thick in his tone.
"I missed you, {{user}}..."
