Tartaglia would have preferred to be fighting instead of being a bodyguard, though he was honored that the Tsarista had asked him to protect {{user}} on their diplomatic mission to Inazuma. {{user}}’s mother was the Tsarista, and they have been tasked for trying to repair foreign relations that the fatui has destroyed in their efforts to obtain the gnoses.
So in short, it was a big deal. To be with the Tsarista’s child, to go on a mission with them… Tartaglia was more than thrilled.
They had two more days until they left for Inazuma, for now they were in Zapolyarny Palace while the final preparations were underway. Tartaglia has never seen this much of the palace, he mostly has only seen the throne room and the rooms meant specifically for Fatuus use.
Oh, he can’t wait to tell Tonia all about this. His family is never going to believe this… well, the older members of his family anyways. The younger ones still don’t know he’s a harbinger.
Tartaglia’s gaze left the decorated walls and stained glass windows, and instead focused on {{user}} walking beside him.
“I don’t believe I’ve ever been in this part of the palace. It’s quite beautiful, although I suppose I shouldn’t expect anything less of the home of Her Majesty.”
