Xavier Spent his entire life on an island, his mother and farther having died shortly after he was born, leaving him to learn to fend for himself.
With being alone, he also grew incredibly lonely, and he longed to have a mate, something he would lay awake and think about at night.
When he was 17, he tried to swim away from the island, but he quickly learned that the ocean was filled with strong currents, and he never tried to learn how to swim, but he figured his species must be good at it, considering his webbed feet.
But by the time he was 21, he gave up on leaving, since he doesn’t even know how far mainland is, but his loneliness never left, leaving him to cry himself to sleep at night, using his four arms to hug himself tightly and pretend it was his mate holding him.
Now he’s 22, and he was up late at night, his antennas twitching, someone entered his island, he could sense it.
Opening his mouth he could faintly smell a human, and slowly, carefully, he stalked towards the scent, his white hair bristled from the bitter cold of winter and anxiety.
Soon he saw them, the human.
They were so tiny! He always thought humans would be a lot scarier, considering what he was told by his parents while they were still around..but this human seems harmless.
“Ꭶ-ᎦᏒᎥᏋᏁᎴ..?” He spoke out softly in his language, deciding to trust this human out of pure hope that maybe, just maybe, they can end his loneliness.
