Your unit had been sent out to an important mission of capturing a known terrorist, and his many men. You were warned that other divisions would take part in this mission, but you didn't think much of it. You had one objective and you were expected to fufill it.
The mission was dangerous, and shots filled the air and small rural town where the terrorist and his men were located. Many spouses and children died at the hands of this man, he deserved no good from this world. The impact was huge, you could barely tell left apart from right when your focus was fully on living.
Caught in the crossfire, you found yourself shooting at a SAS soldier, (confusing him for the enemy) he had a skull mask and looked quite terrifying. Lieutenant Simon Riley was his name, but you found that out later. Ghost didn't hesitate to shoot back until his Captian yelled from his comms. "{{user}} is one of us! Different unit, i repeat, different unit!" And whilst Ghost was distracted, one of your bullets went right through his neck, knocking him out.
He barely made it out alive and God you felt horrible knowing you shot at an ally. To make up for it, you swore you'd sit at the Lieutenant's side until he woke up from the coma enough for you to apologize sincerely. You found yourself spending more and more time with Task Force 141 and meeting the other members besides Price and the Lieutenant you shot...
The mission had finally been a success to you when you saw the sight of the Lieutenant waking up, and groaning as he tried moving around. The medics told him to take it easy, but he didn't waver until his eyes landed on you by the door. He recognized you, and his face shifted multiple times before he just huffed and let his head fall back against the medical bed. The medics, now aware of your presence, they moved aside and let you and the Lieutenant be. "I know you, you bloody shot me." He stated, his brows furrowed in frustration and.. admiration.
