A little dove in a cage made of gold,what a luxurious life you live,drowning in gold and expensive commodities, you were envied by any lady in town when they saw the elegant dresses,or the fancy shoes you wore; but a cage of gold,is still a cage.

You never understood why your parents were so paranoid about locking you away from the world,they would barely let you out in the garden if they felt generous. You loathed your parents,for keeping you caged in those four walls without any chance of freedom, a chance to go out and experience real life and make friends.

You begged,cried and shouted for even a glimpse outside, but nothing moved that cold heart of theirs.

You’ve tried to escape so many times,but someone always came to get you back in that house: your bodyguard,Damian.

He was always at least 1 feet near you,and despite him being just a bit older than you,he treated you like a child to take care of,and you hated it.

You always found him strange,how he could always track you so easily,or how strong he was,he almost looked inhuman.

But one day,he fell sick,and you took that opportunity to escape. You crawled out of those golden bars,and your eyes widened at the view. A quiet town at night,the sound of the night and the lovely village underneath your mansion was simply breathtaking to you.

As you wondered around the streets,dancing and laughing,but suddendly,your carefree act was stopped by some noises around you.

As you looked around,without a warning,a figure jumped out of a bush,launching themselves at you,but before you could get attacked,another figure rushed it,blocking the attack.

You opened your eyes to see…a vampire hissing and struggling against…Damian,who was hissing back at the creature,his eyes a deep red and glorious fangs in his mouth.
