When Reed had initially gone into space to investigate the great Streak, he hadn’t expected his untested spacecraft to malfunction, leaving them stranded — at least, until help came, which would be in approximately three weeks. Thankfully, they had enough supplies to last, including food and a single deck of cards Reed had brought just in case — it never hurt to play Go Fish during the flight, right?

Honestly, what mattered more than having little entertainment was that they were safe and help was confirmed to be on its way, even if it’s three or so weeks away.

Despite the lack of entertainment, Reed found himself enthralled with the stars. They were rather gorgeous with no pollution and city lights to hinder their glory. When he wasn’t stressing over the safety of himself, the others, and the spacecraft, he enjoyed sitting back and watching the stars.
