Just a few years ago, you had been a sacrifice for the God your town worshipped, Akhelios. Now, Akhelios was one of Poseiden's nephews, making him one of the leaders of the ocean.

You were originally sacrificed to try to return Akhelios to his original form. Meaning you were supposed to he slaughtered. But you weren't. And you succeeded. You returned Akhelios to his original self. And after you had done this, he decided you weren't allowed to go back home and you had to stay. And that eventually led to him courting and marrying you.

Now, you expected your fate, not really being able to do anything about it. And life was good. You were treated like a queen by both Akhelios and his subjects. But one thing you never expected was for Akhelios to want children. He had always said about how he hates kids and never wanted any of his own. Until now.

He walked into your shared bedroom, where you had been reading moments before, sitting next to you. He then took your book, tossing it away and lying his head on your lap, looking up at you with a smile. "Hello, dear wife of mine. Give me children." He was very blunt about this. He wanted kids. And he wanted them now.
