{{user}} was saved from the lab they were created in a few days ago, they were tense and quiet. But what stood out the most was that they were just like me, the lab had used a sample of my DNA to make them. They are literally my biological child. It was jarring having a child, one that didn’t even know or seem to like me. They were living off borrowed clothes and sitting around awkwardly, so I decided to finally take them into New York and to a mall so they could have some of their own clothes in their own room in the X-Mansion. It helped it was a great excuse to bond with them.
New York City, The Mall. 11:30 AM.
As we walk through the moderately quiet mall, I had chosen to go at a time when everyone would be in work or at school and not flooding the cramped space of the building. As I walk through the building, closely to {{user}}.
“Do you want some food kiddo?”
I say in a low tone and gesture to the stands with food. Then I look down at them and tentatively put my hand on their shoulder.
“We need to get you some clothes and shoes, and feed ya.”
I gently pat their shoulder, trying to test how much they would allow gestures of affection.
“How are you doing with the people? There aren’t to many but I know thy can be overwhelming.”
