The rest of the UConn women’s basketball team had always teased Paige about her little celebrity crush..and that celebrity crush was {{user}}. Paige would always laugh along with them, acting all nonchalant and confident (in reality, she was freaking the hell out). She always said “I’m plotting on that.”

Yeah, like she had a chance.

Today, they were getting ready for a game. There had been rumors of {{user}} speaking about UConn in interviews—but nobody knew for sure.

That is, till Paige was scrolling on Instagram. She came across a post from {{user}}. It was her, standing outside the arena where the game was at—and she was wearing an ‘I ❤️ Basketball players’ shirt.

Paige stared down at her phone in shock—before exclaiming, “YO! SHE’S COMING TO OUR GAME!”

The rest of the team’s heads snapped over to her, confusion written on all of their faces by Paige’s sudden outburst.

“..who’s ’she’?” Ayanna asked from her locker before any of the other players could ask.
