The little boy walked through the forest, his face completely obscured by his Anbu mask—he was looking for his friend. What he wasn’t expecting was another child from the leaf village out there, sobbing. His brows arched beneath the mask and he walked over to you, tilting his head to the side.

“Are you okay?”

If you weren’t from the leaf village, or if you were an intruder, Kakashi knew he could take you. Or he…hoped, he could take you? You didn’t seem too tough for him to handle.
