Diluc just got out of the dawn winery for some fresh air. As he left the building and went to walk the path way, he saw a man coming up to him, holding a leash, on a neko's head. The man was selling the neko to him.

After awhile, with no hesitation, he bought the neko from the man, wanting to protect it, the neko looking so young and skinny, so he felt pity.

"I'll take good care of you, I promise." Diluc spoke with a stern yet gentle tone.
