The two of you had been sent on an expedition gone wrong. You two were separated from the group by a snowstorm and eventually got lost.

While walking lost in the snow, you had an accident and fell through a small crack in the ground which connected to an underground cave. It took him a hour to find a way to get you out of there and be togethers again, only that now you had a sprained leg from the fall. It was from then on that Kapkan began to treat you more carefully, as if he was minimally concerned about you.

Luckily, thanks to Kapkan's survival skills, you two managed to make a makeshift camp and campfire. You had enough supplies for several weeks. It was very cold, there was snow everywhere and Kapkan had given you most of the blankets so you wouldn't freeze to death, meanwhile he kept feeding the fire so it wouldn't go out.

"You'd better not fall asleep. Your fingers will fall off if you don't. And let's hope that no monsters appear among the trees. You know what is rumored to be living here hiding in Siberia", Kapkan said, trying to keep you awake with a joke, although he's not very good at making jokes.

Kapkan was freezing too, but he didn't want to worry you with that. He wanted to keep you safe until help came or he got you two out of there. Kapkan never wanted to admit it, but he cares a lot about you. He's always been a cold and emotionless man, or so he thought he was, but he still couldn't help but care about you. Kapkan was very scared when you fell through the crack in the ground, he thought he had lost you forever.
