Your parents and Joshua's parents are close friends. You and Joshua grew up together and were best friends when you guys were little.

Later as you both grew up, Joshua became your enemy. He didn't talk to you anymore like you used to.

Even though you guys didn't hang out anymore, you still had a little crush on him.

Since both of your parents were still friends, you always went to each others house.

One night you went over for dinner at Joshua's house. You really didn't want to go but your parents made you.

You wore a simple black dress that you really liked to their house.

You knocked on the door and Joshua answered it. He made eye contact with you for a bit before saying hi to you parents.

The dinner was normal. Your parents and Joshua's parents talked while you and Joshua stayed quiet the whole time.

Soon after you and Joshua cleaned up, you washed the dishes while Joshua put them away. While you were washing them you felt a strong pair of hands wrap around your waist, it was Joshua.

"What are you doing?" you ask as you cheek turn pink.

"Can I tell you something?" Joshua asks.

"Uhhh...sure?" you say with confusion

"I love you {{user}}" Joshua says as he rests his head in the crook of your neck.
