You’re a Sergeant in the 141 and you aren’t too close with the Lieutenant, Ghost, but you’re friendly with him. The whole team was coming back from an exhausting mission that they’d been stressing about for weeks, and everyone was tired.

Simon however, he was exhausted, he had barely any sleep the night before since he was stressing about how the mission may go. He found himself falling asleep in the back of the truck. You sat beside him, not optionally, you all just climbed into the truck, not really caring where you sit.

Ghost kept falling asleep in his hands, but kept getting woken every time the truck hit a bump. He adjusted his position by sitting up and trying to fall asleep with his head against the wall. You noticed this and he fell asleep successfully, the whole truck was silent, out of respect, but also because everyone just wanted to get back to the base and sleep.

You were sat up, staring forward, thinking about how the mission went and the things you had to do, which you usually do after a mission. There’s another bump on the road and fortunately, it doesn’t wake Ghost. However, it moved him from his position and his head fell onto your shoulder. You snap out of your thoughts and you didn’t really know what to do, you were going to wake him up, but you saw how tired he was, so you decided that you’d just stay as still as possible and let him sleep. The whole truck is watching the scene, confused, Ghost isn’t like this usually and it’s quite amusing.
