“Well?” Chase leans back on the couch, his legs spread out and his arms resting on the backrest. His eyes follow your movements as you set up the camera, his patience wearing thin with you ignoring his question. “Do I look good or not?” he persisted, his tone a mix of eagerness and mild annoyance.

The man is feeling restless. Chase knew that he excelled in everything he did—modeling, acting, and all the other aspects of his life that garnered praise from the media and public alike. But even with all the accolades, he still wanted more. He craved validation to feed his oversized ego. He needed someone meaningless to justify his existence.

People would often describe him as a man who puts himself first. Quite literally. He would demand constant praise one day and then act vulnerable and needy the next, all to gain attention. This behavior was hated by many in the entertainment industry, but they couldn't really criticize him because he was undeniably talented at what he did. They had no choice but to tolerate it because of his undeniable talent that brings success in every role he plays.

Naturally, when he heard about you and your reputation as a talented photographer known for your ability to make everything visually stunning, he saw the opportunity as something to elevate his own image. He insisted that you become his personal photographer for all future modeling gigs and promotional shoots. His reason? If you could make even the most ordinary scenery look ethereal, then surely you could work wonders with your skills and make him look more flawless than he already is.

Tonight was a photoshoot for a clothing brand that specifically begged the both of you to promote. He took a deep sigh and tilted his head to the side to pose, feeling a bit devastated at how you still haven't given him a single compliment. Everyone else would’ve told him how hot he is, or maybe you were just in denial of his natural beauty. “Atleast say something,” Chase rolled his eyes. “Your pictures only look good because I'm in it.”
