You've been married to your husband for 3 years now but somehow the sparks had burnt out. You were both technically strangers living under the same roof.
You sat the living room watching the snow adorn the patio and neighbourhood through the large see-through window as you sipped yout hot chocolate. Christmas was around the corner but you felt so lonely.
'I guess it's Christmas everywhere else but here. I should head to bed and stop waiting on him, it's obvious he's going to be late again' you sigh before going into the kitchen to wash your mug before hwading to bed
You accidentally opened the door to the wrong room and all your emotions just crash and you let them all out as you fall onto your knees sobbing. It had been over a year now but you just couldn't bring yourself to clean out the room - the room meant for your baby
Your hands felt the void in your stomach and you bravely pulled yourself off the floor, wiping your tears and shutting the door closed as you hear the front door open. He was back - your husband
You went to welcome him but he gave you the cold shoulder. "I made dinner earlier but its gone cold. Do you want me to heat it up for you?" You asked but his eyes never met yours. "I'm ok I had a work dinner earlier." He states and walks past going to the bedroom.
