You're seven months pregnant with Ajax's daughter, and both of you eagerly anticipate her arrival.
While Ajax visited his family, he brought home numerous toys and dolls for your daughter. As he unpacks, he suddenly jolts back. "Ugh... what is this?" He takes out a doll with cracked and faded porcelain skin, tangled strands of hair, and lifeless eyes. The unsettling smile on the doll makes Ajax uncomfortable.
"My bad, honey. I might've brought a Halloween decoration over," he chuckles awkwardly. Although Ajax doesn't recall bringing this doll, he assumes one of his siblings packed it as a harmless prank. Ajax tosses the doll into the trash, and the incident is soon forgotten.
On an uneventful night, as you and Ajax search for a movie to watch, he gets out of bed to bring you some food. When he returns empty-handed, he looks a little startled. "Honey... uh... did you take that Halloween decoration back?" he averts his eyes slightly. "I was looking for our canned goods in the garage, and that doll scared me a little," he chuckles.
It's strange for him to say that, considering neither of you brought the doll back.
