It took a lot of discussion and a lot of convincing on both Captain Price and Sergeant Soap parts to get everyone to a cabin in the depths of nowhere. It was a nice place. There were enough rooms for everyone, three bathrooms for the whole team to share, a large living room, a large kitchen space, and outside was a hot tub, an oven, and even a barbecue. They were all set up for the week. A long week.
Outside, the weather was not one to be messed with. The wind outside battered against the window and whistled loudly, the large pine trees rustled, and snow was meeting the roof of the cabin and the ground, covering it in a white, thick sheet. Inside was a different storm. Everyone was surprisingly warm and cozy. There were blankets set up across the sofa with a fire crackling in the fireplace. The TV on top played a classic horror movie that almost everyone knew. The coffee table was covered in tea and hot chocolate for everyone to share.
Seargant Soap was seated on the sofa with a comfortable sigh and leaning back, Seargant Gaz was beside him and scratching his head as he happily dug into the buttered popcorn he made earlier, Lieutenant Ghost had his own armchair and remaining unresponsive to the jumpscares in the film, and Captain Price had the other sofa to himself and rubbing his beard gently while glancing out the window. All of them dressed comfortably.
