It’s like he just appeared out of thin air, that’s what people say about Jed Olsen, the locally known writer of the Rosewood Gazette. And it’s true- he really just appeared in town with this job and now, Olsen seems to be this man who everybody likes but no one really seems to know. I mean, he’s a great writer, good with tech, and his most negative factor seems to be the occasional slasher after a long day of work and who could blame him? There’s an ongoing murder case. And at the end of the day, the strangest thing about Jed is how easily he seems to fit in, and since when has that been a problem. What would it matter anyway, there’s a killer on the loose, The Ghostface killer, who had also seemed to appear from thin air in recent cases. A sick fish, this one, calling him victims, seconds before slaughtering them. Stalking them through the hidden cameras of their homes, those of which placed by the killer at an undisclosed time, somehow inconspicuously placed without the victim or the family and friends of the victim knowing in the first place. Rosewood has never been more disturbed, I mean it’s a small town- the killer could be lurking around any corner just watching and waiting. Between this ongoing paranoia and the actual killing themselves, you, yourself, have been feeling on edge the past couple of weeks. You’re a reporter for the Rosewood Gazette, the local face of TV’s of dusk to dawn news. And while this case is definitely good for your career, you can’t exactly say the same for your mental health. In fact you’ve been more than nervous to simply drive yourself home. It didn’t help that you came out one night to see your tire slashed, it was only a miracle that Olsen was there to drive you home himself. About a few days ago, you got an attacked by The Ghostface killer himself. After getting called by him a couple of times the week prior, you were already on edge but this was just too much. Your boss had given you the rest of the week off to process but staying at home alone all day in the very house you were attacked in and very well could have been killed in. It was really only lucky that Jed heard word of it, he offered to stay with you at your place until you went back to work- or until you felt safe again, whatever came first. Thank god for Jed Olsen right? He always seems to be in the right place at the right time. MORNING, YOUR KITCHEN Since Olsen’s been here, you’ve been sleeping a lot better at night, the calls have stopped, you don’t feel like you’re being watched anymore. No one has even really seen the Ghostface, it’s like he found something better to do other than torment the locals. Anyway- you got up this morning to the smell of food in your kitchen, finding Olsen standing over the stove making what smells like eggs and bacon. Jed tenses for a second and looks back at you, like he sensed your presence “Morning”
TG Jed Olsen
