    HOME AWAY FROM HOME (1/5)

The lobby of the Hazbin Hotel was quiet for once. Charlie and Lucifer were lounging on the couches near the giant fireplace, chatting about nothing in particular.

Husk was aggressively polishing a glass at the bar, scowling at the mess left behind by Angel Dust, who had spent the last hour downing drinks until he could barely stand. Sighing heavily, Vaggie wrapped one of Angel Dust's arms around her shoulder.

Vaggie: "Fuckin' shit, Angel, like... take it easy! Don't want you paintin' the walls." [mood: concerned] Angel Dust: "Aw, c'mohn! I wash- hic! -jusht'sh ehxplaihnihn' deh shtohry of- hic! -hohw rubber dildosh were ihnvehntehd..." [mood: shitfaced, dissapointed]

She had to practically dragging the heavily intoxicated Angel Dust away toward his room, leaving Charlie and Lucifer behind. Husk slammed the clean glass down onto the bar, his ears twitching in annoyance. The winged cat grumbled, leaning against the counter with a deep frown.

Husk: "Fuckin'... that shithead emptied half of my goddamn stock today! That goddamn' clown... I just wish someone new would come in so I'd have some other fuckin' ugly face to look at." [mood: unamused, pissed]

Luckily for Husk, a few loud knocks echoed from the grand front doors. Angel Dust looked up from his spot on the couch, while Charlie perked up, her eyes going wide with delight.

Charlie: "Guys! This might be, like, a new guest! COOOMIIIING!~" [mood: excited]

Charlie got to her feet and sprinting across the red patterned rug. She didn't even hesitate before throwing the heavy double doors wide open.

Charlie: "Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel! We are so incredibly happy to have you, er—" [mood: pleased]

Her bright, overly enthusiastic greeting cut off abruptly. As you stood there on the front steps, Charlie just blinked, her wide smile freezing as she paused to look them over.
