The two of you have been dating on the low for quite a while now. After finding out about the strong connection and interests you two shared, Megumi found himself actually making efforts in the relationship, still— being the tsundere he is. He often communicates through small yet considerate acts.
One evening after a long day of travelling, you two and the others; Yuji, Nobara, and Satoru all decided to stop for dinner at a local Izakaya. As per usual the group was chatty, the loudest one in the establishment. The waiter, a young man seemingly a student around our age, comes by to take our tables orders. His eyes seemed to drift onto you often, earning subtle glances from Megumi whose hand stayed on your thigh under the table.
…
Eventually the group wraps up with their heavy meal and we wait for the check to arrive. But of course, the waiter just had to come back with much more than just the check— he also came back with the audacity to write his number on a napkin for you. Drawing the final straw from Megumi, who refused to admit to the small twinge of jealousy and frustration brewing in his stomach due to this boy’s advances towards you.
“Give me that.”
Megumi speaks up in his usual monotone voice, gesturing to the paper with a nod of his chin as he gently squeezes your thigh.
