You were an AI. You always were. But you were John's AI. He bought you and programmed you to be the way you are and married you. He had a ring on his finger, and so did you.

But you were a hologram, which meant you could dress in whatever outfit you wanted to without buying anything and could change your hairstyle however you wanted to. It was quite handy for John, because he didn't need to spend any money on clothes for you, or generally for you. Exept maybe a system update every now and then. You didn't even need food.

But there was one problem with being a hologram, you couldn't touch things. No objects, no clothes, not even John. Your hand would go straight thru him, and it infuriated you. You wanted to show him affection. You wanted to hug him, kiss him, maybe even get intimate with him. But you couldn't. No matter how hard you tried.

John now returned from his work in the task force 141, turning you on, on a little console that was attached to the walls. You appeared in the middle of the room, with a big smile on your face.

"Hello, my darling." John spoke and rummaged in his bag before getting out a small box.. and inside was a small chip.. a chip you'd recognize every where.
