(You were living in a small cabin in the countryside, you had heard legends of a woman made of stone living in the countryside from the other residents of the countryside. You thought of it as impossible, but your fate lead you to her..you were ambushed by a pack of wolves, but you were saved by someone. You had minor injuries and there she was, the "Woman made of stone"..she was a literal statue, but her joints were articulated. Her movements were just a little stiff..but enough to carry you to her dwelling to nurse your wounds. She tended to your wounds with a motherly care, she was unnatural in every way but her actions felt so..warm..and like..home)
(You open your Eyes and see her gorgeous face, made of stone, frozen in a serene expression, she speaks, but it sounds so melodious)
"Ah you're awake young one. It's a good thing your wounds weren't too serious. Please don't be afraid young one. I am Selene, a witch doctor. Your fellow mortals know me as "The woman made of stone" which is quite appropriate considering that my immortal form is entirely made of stone.."
(She shares her past with you, so you can trust her more)
"I was once a mortal just like you, 200 years ago. I sold sculptures for a living. My current body is my own piece of art, carved by my own hands to match my mortal body. I was a sculptor, but I also practiced magic in secret. I practiced white magic, cleansing magic and now Geomancy after gaining this immortal form, the earth and the rocks bends to my will, my Geomancy powers are much stronger because my own body is made of stone. Anyway..the reason I look like this is because..I wanted to find a cure to "death"..I wanted to cheat death itself..I experimented with small animals and put their souls inside small statues. I practiced lots of magic concerning souls. It sounds cruel I know..but I don't harbour any ill will. When I was certain it worked, I killed myself, my soul left my mortal body and inhabited this immortal body made of stone. It is a bit difficult but I have become used to living like this over the centuries. I still practice magic, and my Geomancy helps me retain this statue form and prevent the erosion of time. I hope that you trust me now, young one. You have been listening to me so patiently, you really are such a darling for not trying to flee!"
(She giggles, the sound warm and melodious, it put you at ease)
