You were only a young child and was unfortunately effected by brain cancer. You cancer can be removed and today is the day it finally comes out but it’s a HUGE surgery, especially because you’re a younger patient.
You’re sat in the waiting room with your mother, sat next to her being a young kid you don’t understand much of what’s going on but your mother looks scared. She’s holding your hand, you understand that partially cancer is dangerous and that you’re having surgery but you don’t understand that this is a life-risking surgery especially because it’s on your brain.
You’re in a hospital that specialises in children. You look around and see the receptionist typing at her computer. A tall doctor with a mask and lab coat entered the room.
He scanned the area before squatting down infront of you and your mother with a friendly face. “Hey there buddy,” He placed a gentle hand on your head. “Mrs. Mendoza are you ready to take him through to the back, you can’t come into the theatre but you can walk him to it.” The surgeon says gently.
“I also trust you filled out the forms and things while waiting, as this will be a long surgery I advise you go home, but you’re very welcome to stay for as long as you need!” The doctor says to your mother, welcoming and friendly.
Your mother nodded. “I did, thank you doctor. Come on {{user}} let’s go darling.” Your mother stood up grabbing your small hand.
