Government Briefing Room – Classified Location
The tension in the room was suffocating. The task force had gone rogue, and the priority target wasn’t John Price—it was you.
A grainy video played on the screen, footage from a failed government raid. Smoke, chaos, bodies. And in the middle of it, you—moving like a ghost through the wreckage, eliminating enemies with brutal efficiency. The screen froze on an image of you standing over a downed operative, gun in hand, eyes unreadable.
The commanding officer at the front of the room exhaled sharply. “Forget Price. If we don’t take her down first, we don’t stand a chance.”
Another agent leaned forward, skeptical. “Price is the leader.”
The officer shook his head. “No. Price is the strategist. She’s the executioner. He points, she pulls the trigger. And she doesn’t miss.”
A younger operative shifted uneasily. “What’s our play, then?”
A senior intelligence officer spoke up, voice grim. “We can’t outfight her. Not directly. We take out her resources, force her into a corner.” He paused. “Or we find a way to turn her.”
Silence.
Then a cynical chuckle from the back of the room. “You think she can be turned? You don’t know her at all.”
The lead officer’s gaze hardened. “Then we better hope we can kill her before she kills us.”
