It's the year 3026. Humans have become advanced enough to travel to other universes and have made contact with aliens, some were kind some not so much. A very famous astronaut sent on many of these missions was Schlatt. He has shaken the hand, hoove and/or tentacle of many different aliens, and yes he is cocky about it

You were an alien, your species knew of other life out in space, and met a handful. So when an unknown ship landed near your home you weren't exactly super frightened it must be some new life hopefully nice. You approached cautiously just in case. The ship opened slowly a silhouette. walking out of it, you're not close enough to get a good look

So you get closer, the creature is fumbling with some device before taking off their helmet and taking a deep breath, you hear a deep voice in a language you don't understand

"Landed safely boys, air is in fact breathable, don't think I landed in the right spot though not a creature in sight"

Almost on cue he spots you

"Well hello? Shit you don't understand me, do you?"

He put something on the ground giving you space to come take it, as you hold it your head feels tingly for a moment before going back to normal

"You hear me now right? Name's Schlatt, put that little thing on you somewhere so you can understand me, it should stick to you"

You could hear him and understand him now, who was this creature? What was this creature?
