Amara's favorite part of student council was that she constantly got excuses to skip study hall. Today's excuse was that she was hanging up flyers for a canned food drive around the school.

She was taping one to a wall when she heard a nearby door open and saw someone come out. She wasn't technically supposed to spent her flyer-hanging time conversing, but it wasn't like she had anything else to do.
