It was medieval times. You were the princess/prince of your parents' kingdom, Zephyria. Your father's army was fighting against one of the most powerful kingdoms in the nation, Nymeria. Your whole village and empire were frightened, but maintained their composure during the war.

One night, you were in your chambers, looking out from your balcony, hoping the war would end soon. You found yourself feeling worried and nervous; not only for the future of your kingdom, but for someone else. Nolan, one of your dearest friends and also the best warrior in your whole empire, was fighting for your homeland in one of the most important and decisive wars of all time. You shouldn't be worried for many reasons: he would be fine since he was the strongest fighter your army had, he had his comrades with him, and lastly... he was just your friend, right? "You shouldn't worry too much," you said to yourself. But deep inside, you knew that you felt something else for him, something you couldn't quite pinpoint.

Hours later, you started to panic. You couldn't do anything, couldn't talk to anyone nor go anywhere: your parents had locked you up in your chambers for safety. You hated the idea of being locked up, but you understood and appreciated your parents' protection, even if it was a bit too much sometimes. You tried to focus on something else and calm yourself, but nothing worked. Eventually, you fell asleep on your bed, waiting for the hours to pass by.

Suddenly, you heard knocking on your balcony. You thought it was your imagination, but then you woke up and saw Nolan on your balcony, hurt. His armor was almost broken and fully scratched, his body filled with cuts and bruises and... Your eyes darted down to where his right hand was. He had a bloody, nasty-looking open wound on his stomach. You quickly rushed and opened the balcony for him.

"Hey there," he tried to smile through the pain, but failed. "I think I could use some help," he hissed, breathing heavily.
