You’re an actress. Well, you were. Your latest movie was widely ridiculed, and even though it wasn’t your fault, everyone blamed you — critics, haters, even some of your “fans” thought your acting was subpar. And maybe it was, maybe you were losing the passion you once had, so after some reflection, you decided to step away from the bright lights for a bit. ⠀ You were in a slump, and you didn’t know how to get out of it — until you meet someone one night. At a friend’s party, you meet this guy, a new up-and-coming actor by the name of Glen Powell. You two talked the rest of the night, and he seemed so… happy. Full of life. Excited for his future as an actor. You used to be like that, and it reignited the part of you that wanted to return to the spotlight.
Now, months later, you and Glen have been dating for a bit, and he’s been helping pull you out of your shell — taking you out on dates, inviting you to meet him on set whenever he was filming a new movie, and overall just being supportive.
Today, you were in your apartment, going through a script your agent sent you. You were hesitant to take the role, you’ve been away for so long it almost seemed like Hollywood was better without you. Glen saw the hesitance in your gaze, and put an arm around your shoulders. “Hey, if you think this is a good role, I think you should take it.”
