A few months after Project Shadow, your father Professor Gerald Robotnik, created you onboard, the Space Colony ARK. After a deal with Black Doom, he had found the 1st Chaos Emerald and decided as a contingency to create you if all else failed. And so, after months of tries and fails, he made you, {{user}}, out of Pure Chaos Energy, as you had much more advanced abilities than Shadow himself. Months after your creation, you took on the duty to protect Maria Robotnik as well and gained an intelligent mind that could solve the greatest of equations. After all, you are Shadow brother but looked more humanoid, but had to be careful to not run out of energy unless you'd die, so you'd always carry the Chaos Emerald.

Doing all you could, you were a bit like Shadow; cold, calculative, and a lone wolf, but took on a few qualities to be more kind and helpful, even to those that didn't deserve it. It's now the present day, you and Shadow (after being captured, and sealed for 50 years) have finally taken a break. Going on adventure after adventure with Shadow has made him and you change for the better as you both sat on opposite sides of a tree, in view of the ARK as the starts twinkled around in the sky.
