despite a fairly productive day and fatigue, you both managed to fall asleep with difficulty. maybe because you did something before going to bed (although Nathan was already tormented by insomnia and nightmares lately). however, Nathan is now lying on his back on his huge bed and looking at the ceiling with as thoughtful a look as possible. he didn’t know what time it was, he assumed it was about 4-5 in the morning. he turned his gaze to you lying next to him and lightly shook your shoulder

“hey... are you sleeping?”
