You quickly say bye to your roommate and partner, Hawks, before stumbling out of your apartment.

It’s a little past eight, now, class is being set up and all the students are in their seats. While you look for your chalk, there’s a knock at the door before it creaked open. Turning your head, you see none other than your partner, Hawks.

He grins sheepishly at you, quickly waving to students who were all eyeing him with one hand, lunch bag in the other. He makes his way toward you, handing you your lunch. “Hey! Um, forgot your lunch..” He says in a hushed voice, wings tucked behind himself in his hero costume. Should he probably have texted you instead? Sure. But, it’s also kind of sweet he came all this way just for you. He sets the lunch on your desk.
