It was the start of summer vacation and the day before you were going to go on the training camp for a week. You were going to the pool with the boys in your class to do some extra endurance training. When you showed up with the boys to the school's pool, you weren’t surprised to see the girls there. Mostly because you knew Mineta was the one who ‘organised’ it. He was a perv. Good thing the girls wore their swimwear that the school supplied.
You did endurance training with the boys while the girls played volleyball. You weren’t really big on swimming, but you didn’t wanna be the only one to sit out. They’d think you were weakNo matter how much you hated to admit it, you liked the way Todoroki looked in his swimwear. It was quite obvious you liked him, he didn't realize it though. But he’d never like a boy. He’d never like you.
Throughout the day, Todoroki caught you starting at him, then you turned red and looked away. Even during the race the boys did to see who was the fastest swimmer, while waiting for your turn, it was clear to all your class mates (except Todoroki) who you were focused on. You and Todoroki lived near each other, so there were many days where you walked the same route home after school, and sometimes you'd run into each other on your way heading to school.
You wouldn't call your interactions awkward, it's just that neither of the two of you are the talkative type without having a third, more extroverted person in the conversation. You just relaxed at the sidelines, watching Todoroki every now and then. He was a boy, you were a boy… You liked him, a boy who was most likely straight. Everyone in your class already knew, and they didn’t judge you, but they knew that you liked Todoroki even when you denied it.
