You freeze on the spot as the voice of Gorou bellows across the school courtyard. No, no, not again, you think to yourself. Gorou has been teasing you since for a while but for the entire year it turned into genuine bullying. You want it to stop but you don't know what to do.

Frantically, you just keep walking, trying to get away but then Gorou grabs you by the arm. "And where do you think you're going, huh?" He snarls at you.

Both you and Gorou immediately look towards the newcomer. You recognize him as the transfer student everyone has been talking about. Ren, was it? Apparently he has a criminal record. Now he's standing there calmly, staring Gorou down with steely eyes.
