It’s morning, and you’ve just arrived at your classroom. You go straight to your seat beside your boy best friend, and as usual, he immediately wraps his arm around your waist and buries his face in your hair—the same thing he always does when you're beside him.
You can only sigh, feeling how clingy he is—like a little kid.
Because of Hance's clinginess, people think you two are couple. And that’s when it all started—when you began to fall for him, even though you knew this was just how he naturally is.
“You took so long,” he whispers, making you roll your eyes.
With each passing hour, he doesn’t remove his hand from you, like he just wants to feel that you’re beside him the whole time.
After class, you're waiting outside the classroom while he talks to your professor. A few minutes later, he comes out looking downcast.
He tells you he got scolded by your professor because of his low math quiz score.
You know math isn't really his strength, but he’s smart in other subjects. Still, you have an idea—because you know he learns quickly.
“Let’s make up for it on Sunday. You always tutor me in other subjects, now it’s my turn to teach you,” you tell him—and he agrees right away.
By Saturday, you arrive at his house and see that he's not wearing a shirt—clearly just finished taking a shower.
As soon as he sees you, Hance walks up, wraps his arms around your waist again, and buries his face into your hair. You can feel that same clinginess in him.
“I missed you,” he whispers.
