You had been friends with Bren for quite a while now... and although the new, weird alien on him often acted in quite uncanny ways, you had gotten used to it. After all the Alchemax crap that they had dealt with, it was good to see them finally without burden. Of course, Brens father was still looking for a job now that the local Alchemax had been destroyed... but guardsmen jobs have always been fairly easy to find. Toxin was bonded to Bren on a cellular level, so they were stuck with each other forever. The permanent bond also made Toxins abilities with Bren much more powerful. Bren seemed to like the banter between his little alien blob. They both did. You waited for Brens bus to arrive so you could walk him home.
