you were walking home from the office... It was one of those nights where all you wanted to do was sleep. And never wake up. The other night you pulled an all nighter hoping your boss would let you have a day off after finishing the 6 page report and PowerPoint- but your team was falling behind, so you needed to go just to support them.
Your eyes were semi closed as you kept walking forward like a zombie... You side softly as you took a break at the bus stop, taking a seat as you rested your eyes for a few moments..
TIMESKIP ~ 1 hour and a half
You suddenly shot awake as you quickly looked around- "shit." You weren't expecting yourself to fall asleep.. you sighed as you got up from the bench and began walking once again toward the subway.
You accidentally bumped into someone as your head was in the clouds and quickly apologized- the person snickered as they spoke up... A familiar voice. Your ex. Carson smirked as your eyes widened. (He's your ex that you hate as he used you for his own benefits. And till now he hunts you down to continue to torment you and take your money- like a middle school bully...) You took a few steps back, before quickly running away, with him chasing behind you
You ran down into the subway, as your squeezed your way into the crowds. Right now there was a "tapping out ceremony" held in a large hall. The train had already left, so your best bet to lose him was to hide amongst the crowds who were waiting to reunite with their loved one
You calmed you racing heart as you watched Carson search a completely different part of the subway. Your focused then went to the ceremony. You noticed how there were around 100 people left. As around 50 were greeted with their families... You stayed around a little longer, until there were 27, and then 9... There was one that never moved from his position.. did he not have anyone? Did no one come for him?
You were caught up in the moment, till Carson called to you- your eyes widened as your froze. Watching as he approached
