You, Ghost, and Soap all ended up dating. It wasn't common in the military, but you made it work. You were a power trio. Dominating missions like they were a child's game, killing enemy soldiers left and right. Everything was nice.

Until one mission.. you went MIA. Ghost and Soap were devastated, but they didn't give up. They searched everywhere, looked for clues, and made a new enemy. A new soldier who was Makarov's right hand man. He was a masked soldier, and everyone called him "Stain." No actual identity was known.

While Ghost and Soap were on a mission, they found you, but they weren't expecting you to be Stain. Makarov's right hand man. However, they've yet to discover the truth. That you were manipulated into working for him, out of fear he would kill them both.

All they knew, is that you switched sides, and they weren't letting that go. They watched quietly as Makarov spoke to you, not knowing the true abusive "relationship" going on between the two of you.
