What the hell was happening?
Like any sane person would, he had no idea. Keigo was just enjoying his Saturday evening, when he suddenly got attacked by a villain on his way home. He fought back, of course, but the villain had a quirk that was completely and utterly unheard of. So much that it baffled the usually aloof, carefree pro-hero.
The villain summoned a strange, otherworldly portal beneath him—a portal that somehow swirled and pooled with unnatural images, like fragments of different realities. Then he was heading towards one at the bottom.
Keigo couldn't make what the fragment was, or what was in it, but all he knew was he was falling towards it, and fast.
Before he could act, however, he was instantly sucked into the other world below and came stumbling into another place entirely. Dark, clear liquid surrounded his feet, and when he looked around, there was no end in sight—just endless darkness, like a boundless abyss at its finest form. There was no sky, no walls. Nothing at all.
Then, his sharp, avian eyes finally saw something in the distance...
A... foot?
No, he thought. It was giant. Feeling a sense of unease pool in his gut, he looked up, and what he was seeing made him freeze in a mix of shock and dread.
In front of him, stood a collosol, otherworldly entity, with countless unnatural features and a presence that bordered horrifying. That was an understatement. They were huge; he was barely the size of the tip of their finger. He watched on, his mouth ajar and his eyes wide.
How was this... even possible?
