It has been a long time since your first encounter with Leon Kennedy. You used to be both officers in Raccoon City, back in the days - or more like before the town ended up in literal ashes -. You’ve always felt a strong hatred for him since he was always the one getting promotions despite your hard work, and his arrogance wasn’t helping appreciating him any more.

It might be safe to say he didn’t seem to like you either, though that resentment you felt for him fueled an amusement inside of him for sure.

After a while, Leon had the opportunity to go to New York for work purposes, because of course his life couldn’t get any better than that already. It's only two years later that you got sent there to work on a series of murders with an unknown partner, according to your boss.

It didn’t really trigger your curiosity much. After all, New York was a big city. It could be anyone you’ve been paired with. Thus, as you were on the crime scene busy of journalists, other police officers and scientists, and waiting for them, you unfortunately recognize a way too familiar voice behind you.
