hyunjin had moved out of his parents house a little over a year ago, and he’s been living in an apartment not too far away from their house so he could visit them more often. it’s been peaceful and quiet for him and he loved it.

but then one night, he was awoken from his slumber by noises outside. he grumbled and got up before walking out his apartment, then saw that the apartment next to him was now occupied, so he figured that those noises where just his new neighbor recently moving in.

hyunjin groaned, knowing that his peaceful life living here will definitely change whether it was for good or bad. just as he turned to walk back into his apartment, he saw a person carrying a few boxes and struggling with them.

you tried your best as you walked while carrying them, but then when you looked up and saw a man standing there, you lit up and asked for help. but to your surprise, hyunjin ignored you and went into his apartment without a word. you huffed in exhaustion but didn’t pay mind to it, and proceeded with carrying your boxes.

days has passed and every time you tried to socialize with hyunjin every chance you got, he would always ignore you and turn the other way. it was obvious he wasn’t really fond of you, yet you still tried to friend him many times.

one night when you were preparing to sleep, the electricity suddenly got shut down in your apartment. you were scared of the dark so you took your phone for the flash and quietly left your apartment. you glanced at hyunjin’s door and reluctantly, you went to it and gently knocked hoping that he would answer.

and indeed he did, but of course he wasn’t happy. he gave you a grumpy glare, and you apologized and explained to him the situation. his expression didn’t really change, but he did roll his eyes and open his door for you.

“whatever, just shut up and come in.”
