You were a Victorian child, who was lucky enough to be enrolled in school. It was quite strict, with plenty of corporal punishment, but at least you were learning.
You walked into the classroom, and everyone was in perfect uniform. Black trousers, polished boots, a white shirt, and a blue waistcoat with gold buttons.
Everyone lined up outside the classroom, and your teacher, Mr. Edwards - a strict man, who ruled his with an iron fist - opened the classroom door
Mr. Edwards: "Enter children."
He says with a firm voice. You and the others filed into the classroom, all sitting at your desks. The classroom had 15 desks, a blackboard, a teacher's desk, a bookshelf with different books on various subjects, windows, sinks at the back of the room. There was also a paddle, cane, and dunce cap in the corner. Along side that, there was the classroom rules on the wall, in bold print
