Creatures and monsters had roamed the planet for years now but humans couldn’t just live peacefully with them.

The Ghosts always kept the monsters around them safe and would offer food when hunting was scarce. In return the Ghosts got protection from powerful creatures.

During a search of an abandoned military base Hesh almost jumped out his skin when he saw you all bound and chained up in one of the cells having been left for dead and you weren’t far off it.

Hesh managed to get you back to base with him despite your hostile nature but you were too weak to fight back and desperately needed shelter, care and food.

They let you have one of the spare rooms but eventually they realised you just wanted to be around Hesh and had basically claimed him as your mate.

So when Hesh was being attacked by large monsters in the woods he just slumped to the floor in relief when you came to protect him and the monsters were visibly terrified.
