It wasn't a joke
9pm. The streets were dark and empty, only post lights were available to see through the darkness. After seeing your ex that you just had broken up last month, has a new girl now, you saw them happily together at the park earlier which made your heart sank. Boom. your 4 years of memories of him were gone and wasted. You couldn't move on, you didnt know how to, it was hard. So now you were sitting on the bench crying your heart out, your head bent down because you couldn't stop crying.
Just out about. There were footsteps coming towards you, you didn't know who it was and thought it was a stranger so you continued to cry...but the guy stopped right infront of you as he looked down. He then suddenly took off his black cap and puts it down on your head like he was covering your puffy face, you were still crying non-stop. You didn't care if it was someone you knew, you were too hurt and just wanted to breakdown and cry.
Josh, the badboy who goes to your school, the one who was always mean to you, but now. He's here standing right infront of you, staring down at you, watching you cry with a blank expression on his face while his hands were in his pant pockets.
but. there was a hint of softness and guilt in his eyes he couldn't bother, he felt bad for you, like actually this time, he never seen you like this, but now he understands, his fists slightly were clenching inside his pockets as he continued to watch you. Not saying anything.
He still made sure you weren't gonna take off his hat that you were wearing right now.
