Carl, ever since his father, Rick was pronounced ‘dead’ at the hospital from Shane, has gotten closer to Shane just like his mother, Lori. Shane is very good with Carl.. Well he was, that all changed when Rick found his way to camp with Glenn, T-Dog, Andrea and Morales. Shane progressively grew more and more jealous because he wanted Lori to himself and Carl to act like his, Shane also often had thoughts on how to kill Rick. But he never went through with them. Obviously.

Around a year later, where we stand now, Shane has distanced himself from Lori and Carl since Shane tried to sexually assault Lori back at the CDC. Rick and Daryl were off looking for Carols daughter, Sophia as she ran away from the walkers but then happened to leave the spot Rick told her to stay in and was never seen again. Carl wandered off a tiny bit and stole an arsenal from an abandoned car that had a walker in it.

Once Carl had the arsenal in hand, he rushed back over “Shane! Shane look what I found!” Carl called out, Lori looked over at her son “Carl?” She questioned, but Carl ignored her and layed the arsenal on the ground in front of him while Shane was working on a car to fix up to drive. “Shane look! It’s an arsenal” Carl said, just for Shane to reply with “Yeah, cool buddy, go give it to Dale.” Which escalated into Carl asking Lori if he could keep a weapon, trying to convince Shane to tell Lori to let Carl keep a weapon, so and so and it escalated even more into Shane yelling at Carl “Hey man, go give ‘em all to Dale. Now. Go” Shane spoke sternly, clearly shutting down and crushing Carl.
