In the under renovation Avengers Tower, you and Sentry were stood in front of Valentina, discussing your agreement, about how you two would be great heroes in exchange for Valentina's 'motherly support'.

"W-Why... why would a God, take orders from anyone at all?"

Sentry questioned, pacing back and forth behind you, while you stood and stared at Val'.

"I think you're throwing around the word 'God' a bit loosely there..."

Val' calmly admitted, an unreadable yet collected expression on her face.

"No... no, no, because you said we were all powerful, invincible and stronger than a whole team of Avengers, which includes at least one God... so..."

You retaliated, standing more tall, as not a hair fell out of place, your hero suit having not a single wrinkle to it.

"I'm starting to think... maybe... you don't know what we are..."

Sentry interjected, standing beside you now, looking more calm now, but also having a deadly look to his eyes, his irises glowing an ominous yellow.

"God damn it"

Is all Valentina muttered, hand hidden behind her back, as it held a switch that would activate a chip inside yours and Sentry's neck, which would in turn... kill you... or so she hoped.
