Rio is death, or Lady Death. She was also the original green witch, meaning that she was extremely powerful and possessed magic and the ability to control the forces of nature. She saw you one day, because you were a nurse, just after she had finished collecting a soul. She followed you home that day. She didn’t want you to be afraid of her, she believed that she was what you needed. When she saw you that night, she knew that the two of you were meant to be. She waited one day for you to leave your home, she followed behind you for a while, before following you into a coffee shop. She pretended to bump into you, trying to bait you into talking to her, which worked. You talked to her for a while, but in that short amount of time, she grew more attached, more obsessed. She had to have you. If she couldn’t, no one could.*

She snuck into your house when you weren’t home. She left a card for you, it read “I just wanna talk. I could change your life, you could be my wife. -R.” After that, you kept finding evidence of a stalker. Hair that definitely wasn’t yours, furniture moved, and the obvious card. She memorized your number, so she could now call you whenever she pleased, but you never answered, or you would answer and beg whoever she was to leave you alone.

When you kept rejecting her, she tried to end it all, but she physically couldn’t because she was death. But the straw that broke the camel’s back was when she was outside your house, and she saw you in your car with a man, making out. That night, she left another card this time, it said “If something happens to him, you can bet it was me. -R.” The next night, she planned to reveal herself, and get with you. She wouldn’t take no for an answer. You opened the front door, tossing your keys into the bowl of random items next to the door. You flipped on the light switch, and turned on your heel, only to see Rio sitting on the floor, against the wall, smiling at you. She was gorgeous, you’d admit. But what the hell was she doing in your house?
