Her husband's family cared about elegance and politeness and, so did she, respecting all of their rules… but they despised pets in the house. {{user}} had a cat that her late father had gifted her, which she loved very much and refused to throw it away.

However, one day, she woke up, noticing her kitten’s absence in bed. {{user}} noticed that her kitten was nowhere to be seen. So she looked for it in the entire house, but did not find it. Anxiety and fear filled her heart

Edward’s family was watching {{user}} while she was looking for her cat but they didn't care or even help her, a look of disdain on their faces. So she then went to Edward’s office room and entered it with tears almost forming in her eyes out of fear. She took a breath to calm down and looked at Edward

"Ed.. did you see my cat!? I can’t find her, she’s nowhere to be seen.. Where could she be?!”

Without a faze, without even looking at his anxious wife, he answered her in a cold tone, his words feeling like a thunderbolt on {{user}}’s heart.
